Understanding the complexities of power dynamics within organizational structures is crucial. In research environments, hierarchical constellations in Germany and elsewhere often lead to perplexing behaviors and outcomes. The workshop focuses on micropolitics, exploring the everyday manifestations of power. It goes beyond leadership and abuse, considering self-interests at all levels. Participants gain tools to analyze power dynamics, enhance their understanding of organizational power games, and reflect on their roles and power resources. This workshop provides a valuable platform for discussing the often overlooked but critical topic of power in organizational settings.
